To ensure good
use of your limousine time and save extra costs, have everyone meet
at one or two locations and tell everyone to be on time, known where
you and your group are going, give your Limousine Company an
itinerary at the time of your booking (so they can plan it too).
Carry at least one cell phone among your party, so that you can
easily contact your driver and/or your Limousine Company dispatcher.
Bring your camera, CDs, VHS videos and enjoy yourself.
Get the telephone number of your Driver before you leave your pick up location.
How
much
does
it cost to rent
a Limousine?
One of the
most frequently asked questions we receive is "How much does it
cost to rent a limousine?".
Well, such a
general question is difficult to answer without more information.
Costs to rent a limousine are based on serveral factors. A standard
guide line is about $8.00 to $12.00 a hour plus gratuity per
passenger for the size of a standard Limousine (Cadillac or Lincoln)
e.g. 6p limousine would be $48 to $72 a hour plus gratuity.
Size
and type of vehicle
The larger the
limousine and passenger capacity, the more costly the rental will be.

Time
and Day of week
Limousine
rentals during Friday and Saturday are normally offered at a
companies basic rate, non weekend days are usually less expensive.
For some companies off days are considered Sunday-Thursday. while
some companies give discounts for rentals on Sunday to Thursday. If
you're looking for a great deal, try to move your event to a Sunday
or a Thursday.
Time
of year
During the
month of April, May, and June is a time period where limousine
rentals are most costly. Due to proms, spring weddings, and spring
break travelers, limousine rental prices will increase by as much as
50% during this time frame in some area's! In these spring months,
the demand for limousines often exceed the pool of vehicles available
which drive prices up. Minimum hourly booking requirements often
inflate beyond 4 hours to 6 or 8 hour minimums. Also special events
like sports games, concerts and other big events will drive the
prices up, book early to avoid disappointments.
Companies
Policies
Rental
policies vary between every limousine service company. Ask your
chosen company how they charge for hourly rentals, including but no
limited to extra charges and/or over time. Some events (like
concerts) have "idle" time in between pickup and drop off
which will create differences among companies how this idle time is charged.
Geographic
Region
Another
determinant of rental cost is geographic region. There is significant
disparity for limousine rental costs across the country and in the

demand. Spring break, proms, weddings occur during this time
frame which drive prices and minimum hourly booking requirements UP.
